This Privacy Policy explains what information Padashala (www.padashala.in) collects when you visit, why it is collected and what choices you have. Padashala is a free educational website for Kerala state-syllabus students, run by Ridhul Lal T R. Writing to us at trridhul@gmail.com is the fastest way to ask anything about this policy.
The short version
- You do not need an account to read anything here. We do not ask you to register or log in.
- We do not sell, rent or trade anyone's personal information. We never have.
- We do not ourselves collect your name, address or phone number. We only see your email if you choose to write to us.
- Google and a few other services we use do set cookies, mainly to show ads and to count visits. The sections below explain exactly which, and how to switch them off.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email and messages. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, and we keep the message only as long as it is useful for that conversation.
- Comments. If you comment on a post, Blogger records the name and profile you comment with. Comments are public and visible to every other reader. Please do not put your phone number, address or exam registration number in a comment.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, this site and the services it uses record some technical information automatically: your IP address, browser and operating system, the pages you open, the time of your visit, and the page that referred you. This is used in aggregate to understand which notes are useful and to keep the site working. It does not tell us who you are.
Cookies and advertising
Padashala uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads to you based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites on the internet.
- These cookies let Google and its partners show ads relevant to your interests and measure how those ads perform. We do not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, email or phone number through these cookies.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google's Ads Settings page: google.com/settings/ads
- Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads here and may use cookies for the same purpose. You can opt out of many of them at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Most of this site will work normally without them.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, how long readers stay, what device and browser they use, and roughly which region they visit from. Google Analytics reports this to us in aggregate. It does not tell us your identity. You can stop Google Analytics collecting your data entirely by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Other services used on this site
These services may set their own cookies or record your IP address when a page loads. Each is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Blogger and Google. This site is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. Blogger sets cookies needed to run the platform, remember preferences and provide basic visitor statistics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- YouTube. Some pages embed YouTube videos. Playing or loading a video lets YouTube set cookies and record the view, under Google's privacy policy above.
- Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare) deliver the fonts and icons the site uses. Your browser requests these files from those servers, which receive your IP address as part of any normal web request.
Children's privacy
Padashala is written for school students, and we know many of our readers are under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We never ask any reader for their name, age, school, address, phone number or photograph, and no part of this site requires registration.
If you are under 18, please do not include personal details in a comment or in an email to us. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, write to trridhul@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
Your choices
- Turn off personalised ads at Google Ads Settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or browse in a private window.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the opt-out add-on.
- Ask us to delete your message or comment. Email us and we will remove it.
Data security and retention
We hold very little data, which is the best protection there is. Emails you send us stay in our mail account and are deleted when they are no longer needed. Comments stay on the post until you or we remove them. Traffic and advertising data is held by Google under its own retention rules, not by us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Links to other websites
We link to official sites such as examination boards and universities, and occasionally to other resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Please read the privacy policy of any site you visit from here.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site. Continuing to use Padashala after a change means you accept the updated policy.

പാഠശാലയിൽ പരസ്യങ്ങൾ കാണിക്കുന്നത് Google AdSense വഴിയാണ്. നിങ്ങൾ ഈ സൈറ്റിലും മറ്റ് സൈറ്റുകളിലും മുമ്പ് നടത്തിയ സന്ദർശനങ്ങളെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി പരസ്യങ്ങൾ കാണിക്കാൻ Google, DoubleClick കുക്കി ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള കുക്കികൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. ഈ കുക്കികൾ വഴി നിങ്ങളുടെ പേര്, ഇമെയിൽ, ഫോൺ നമ്പർ തുടങ്ങിയ വ്യക്തിഗത വിവരങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിക്കുന്നില്ല.
