Effect of Electric Current - SSLC Physics chapter one

Introduction
Effect of electric current is the first chapter of our scert class 10 text book. Here we going to study the effect of electric current. That is the effects on materials due to flow of current. First we will familiarize the electrical changes and the energy changes associated with that. And we will study heating effect , Lighting effect etc. We will also cover different types of lighting devices also. So let start the chapter with some basics.
What is current?
"It is the flow of electrons "
Electrons will flow through a conductor when there exist a potential difference between the terminals ( ends) of that conductor.

So when current is flowing through the conductor it will show some effect in the material or surrounding area.

In this chapter , We are going to deal with such effects

Before going into the effects , Let us check  energy changes in some electric equipment.

But in this chapter we focus mainly on Heating effect and Lighting effect.
